Athens, Greece – Faculty members from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER) recently visited the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) to enhance collaboration.

During the visit, Assistant Prof. Fausto Ferreira presented on multi-domain maritime robotics, while Dr. Barbara Arbanas Ferreira discussed decentralized mission planning for diverse robotic teams.

Discussions centered on the MARBLE project, administrative challenges, and mutual research systems. The visit also facilitated meetings with Greek stakeholders, including ATLANTIS and the University of the Aegean.

Key outcomes include a better understanding of NTUA’s research, knowledge transfer in maritime robotics, and progress towards the joint MARBLE master program’s accreditation.

This visit underscores UNIZG-FER and NTUA’s commitment to international cooperation in robotics and the Blue Economy.
